Gamer+ News November 8, 2021 from hairylarry's blog

Tonight! Inspired Unreality open game chat. Last week we discussed fantasy and science fiction and had some readings. Next week we have a game. Tonight it's bring your own topic. Or suggest a topic for our RPG chat topics D20 table. (soon to be a D100 table)

Inspired Unreality is held every Monday night at 9:00 Central in the gamerplus chatrooms at Tenkars Tavern on Discord. You can find more info and an invitation here.

Next week on Monday November 15, GM Sarah will host a DCC one off. The game will start at 9:00 but we'll be their a half hour early doing game prep. We'll be done by 10:30 or 11:00. GM Sarah is a DCC convention gamemaster and she is one of the hosts at NEA Game Fest. They had a successful convention just last month.

I write about a cool concept. An illusionist who fights wearing an illusion and when killed it's really only the illusion that is broken. The PCs see a corpse that bears the actual appearance of the illusionist and mistakenly think they're dead. But, lo and behold, the next time their attack rolls around they are up and fighting again, although probably with fewer hitpoints and less dangerous attacks.
