Currently writing a very Hugo Strange-ish villain and was wondering - does anyone else take inspiration from the comic books of their their youth when crafting adventures and scenarios?

I love to play and my kids are such good DMs that I never did DM much myself until Vivian and I started writing modules. Now I am running games on our modules so I can see how they work and learn from our mistakes.
